Becoming a Member
The Doe Bay Water Users Association (DBWUA) is a nonprofit, member-owned water system serving the Doe Bay region of Orcas Island. Membership is tied to parcels within the service area and provides access to a reliable, state-approved supply of drinking water drawn from Mountain Lake.
Most properties in the service area are already connected to the system, and new property owners often apply for membership as part of the sale or building process. Membership includes access to treated drinking water, participation in the Association, and compliance with DBWUA requirements.
For full details about fees, requirements, service boundaries, and the application process, please review our Prospective Member Guide below.
